The Titans will return 9 starters on Defense and 6 on offense including three year starter(QB)pass /run threat PATRICK MIDKIFF ...they have speed & weapons at WR that includes Rick Thompson & Ricky Brown, a fleet of solid backups at that position. Bobby Clark returns home to RB after the departure of superstud Dedrick Anderson, he has 4.4 speed and tough as nails. They will be a pass happy team but everyone in Forsyth county will quickly know who Bobby Clark is by the middle of Sept. they must rebuild the Offensive line... but they have BIG young kids who must step up to replace that senior laden 2008 line. They lack experience but they have huge upside "potential".

The Defense is the best in many, many years,(High expectations) multiple three year starters in Pete Balthrop, Cory Richardson, Kersey Anthony & Mr. Lockhart...they are fast,,superfast..they must re-place Lineman "NC Allstar" Jonathan Torres and the "pudge" but this should be one outstanding defense. They must overcome last year's 3 straight losses after a 9-0 start. The D-line will be the re-building focus...Coach Snow always throws in some rinkles and look for Cory Richardson or Pete Balthrop at Fullback(offense) in Goal line situations to blow up some guys in critical blocking situations(maybe a handoff). Ty Jeffords will be missed in goal line situations. The JV KICKER/PUNTER is fundamentally sound, he's got tremendous technic...his leg is not as strong as former Kicker Landon Thayer but he's more polished and he's very athletic, he can tackle like a safety and he's never had a kick returned for a TD on him. His leg is deceptively strong and he's kicked for years.
